Are our banks fit?

Currently, to get large volume corporate accounts, banks seem to be bending backwards and offering rates below the prime lending rate (PLR), while at the same time charging rates that could be higher by about 3 to 4 per cent than PLR to small and medium size customers, bemoan Vasant C.
